Welcome to Alchemy of Worlds. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website (https://www.alchemyofworlds.com) and the purchase of our spiritual wellness and shamanic services.

By accessing our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We invite you to read them carefully as they form a nurturing yet professional framework for our journey together.

1. Introduction (Website Use + Service Booking)

The website is operated by Alchemy of Worlds Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17075403 (together, "Alchemy of Worlds", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms apply to (a) your access to and use of our website (https://www.alchemyofworlds.com) and (b) your booking and purchase of any of our services and digital products through the website.

By using the website and/or placing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

Alchemy of Worlds provides spiritual wellness and shamanic education services, including (without limitation):

Shamanic workshops and ceremonial events (including, where offered, firewalks, snake medicine ceremonies, and arrow-breaking rituals);

Immersive retreats and rites of passage experiences;

Shamanic courses and trainings (including introductions to core shamanism);

Community spaces (Alchemy Cafés and Alchemy Conversations);

Any related resources or digital products that we make available for purchase or access through the website.

All services are designed to offer a safe, grounded, and visionary container for personal transformation. Specific details (location, dates, pricing, what’s included, and any additional participation requirements) will be set out on the relevant booking page and/or confirmation email and form part of these Terms.

3. Safety & Medical Disclaimer

Our services are spiritual and educational in nature. We are not medical professionals, psychologists, or licensed therapists.

Not medical or psychological treatment: Shamanic journeys, ceremonies, workshops, retreats, and courses are not a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Good health + personal responsibility: By participating, you confirm you are in good physical and mental health to take part. You are responsible for seeking medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional if you have any doubts about your ability to participate.

Disclosure of conditions: You agree to disclose (before participation) any relevant medical conditions, injuries, medications, pregnancy, mental health conditions, or other factors that could affect your safety or the safety of others, and to complete any medical disclosure form we require.

Follow guidance: You agree to follow all safety instructions, participation guidelines, and facilitator directions given before and during an activity.

Risk acknowledgment: You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in shamanic rites and embodied practices, acknowledging the inherent nature of experiential spiritual work (which may be physically and/or emotionally intense).

4. Booking & Payment

Payment Processor (Stripe): All payments made through the website are processed securely via Stripe. You authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method for the amounts due for your booking, including any deposit and any balance due.

Currency: All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.

Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once payment (or a required deposit) has been received and you have received a confirmation email from us.

Pricing and Taxes: Prices and what is included are as stated on the relevant booking page. If any taxes are applicable, we will display them where required.

Payment Plans (if offered): If we offer instalments for a service, the terms and schedule will be shown at checkout or agreed in writing. If an instalment payment fails, we may pause access/participation until payment is received.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that life transitions can be unpredictable. However, as our events require significant preparation and have limited spaces, we apply the following policy:

A. Online Workshops & One-Day Events (e.g., Intro to Core Shamanism)

- Cancellations more than 14 days before the event: Full refund minus a small administrative fee.

- Cancellations between 7 and 14 days before the event: 50% refund.

- Cancellations less than 7 days before the event: No refund.

B. Immersive Retreats and Multi-Day Ceremonies

- Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable as they secure your space and allow us to commit to venue and supply costs.

- Balance Payments:

Cancellations more than 60 days before the start date: Full refund of the balance paid (excluding deposit).

Cancellations between 30 and 60 days: 50% refund of the balance paid.

Cancellations less than 30 days: No refund of the balance can be offered.

- Transfer: You may transfer your spot to another person, provided they meet our participation requirements and notify us at least 7 days in advance.

C. Cancellation by Alchemy of Worlds

In the unlikely event that we must cancel a service due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment, you will receive a 100% refund of all monies paid. We are not responsible for any personal travel or accommodation costs incurred.

6. Health and Conduct

To maintain the integrity of our "nurturing container," we reserve the right to:

- Refuse participation to anyone we deem physically or mentally unfit for a specific ceremony.

- Ask a participant to leave without a refund if their behavior disrupts the safety or sacredness of the group space.

- Require the completion of a medical disclosure or liability waiver prior to high-intensity events (Firewalks, Snake Medicine).

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, logos, shamanic literature, blog posts, and videos, is the intellectual property of Alchemy of Worlds Ltd. You may use our free resources for personal, non-commercial use, but reproduction or distribution without our written consent is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alchemy of Worlds Ltd and its directors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website or participation in our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is sacred to us. We process your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information via Stripe and LeadConnector.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
